How to become a CF professional?
Study Route: develop your skills and knowledge in corporate finance
Step 1: Obtain a Certificate in Corporate Finance *
Step 2: Obtain a Diploma in Corporate Finance
Step 3: Minimum of three years corporate finance work experience required to attain the CF qualification
Holders of accountancy qualifications from the following bodies do not need to attain the (Certificate in Corporate Finance) to move on to the (Diploma in Corporate Finance), but it is strongly recommended that candidates holding such qualifications sit the (Certificate in Corporate Finance Unit 2: Corporate Finance Technical Foundations) to gain an appropriate underpinning to the Diploma.

Experience Route: designed for senior and experienced corporate financiers
The CF experience route will formally recognize your achievements in corporate finance.
Those applying through this route will be expected to have at least five years’ experience and provide evidence that they have played the lead advisory role in no fewer than six transactions over the past five years.
