As the date for the CFA exam draws near, bring yourself up to speed with all the crucial details, must know advice, the focus of each level and study methodology under the guidance of CFA charterholder faculty in our Revision program.
Kick off: RP is the start of revision, not the end of it. Candidates don’t need to have completed a revision on their own before coming to the Genesis RP.
Recall: Students tend to forget a lot of the vast and complex curriculum as the exam nears. The RP helps them to get a quick recap of everything across 10 topic areas & 500 LOS that they need to remember
Efficiency: RP is the start of revision, not the end of it. Candidates don’t need to have completed a revision on their own before coming to the Genesis RP.
Motivation: The RP class is full of serious students, guys who’ve already spent many hours studying, who have now taken leave and are committed to CFA. You get motivated by attending an RP with such focused students with the same mission as yourself.
Study groups: Lots of students attend the Genesis RP and it’s quite common for then to meet and form study groups after the RP that will help them in the last 3-4 weeks. Someone’s strength could be your weakness and vice versa.
Problem solving: It’s NOT enough to read concepts. These have to be understood and retained. The ONLY way to do this is to solve as many problems as possible under time pressure. It’s not enough to know how to answer the exam Q but you must do it within the allotted time which happens in the RP:
Level 1: 400+ MCQ
Level 2: 200+ Item set questions
Level 3: 200+ Item set questions & 10-12 essay questions
Exam techniques: Studying is very different from exam strategies and technique. The shift now from Prep Pro to Revision Pro is from Learning to exam techniques

The flow: The RP for a critical part of the Genesis method of learning which is: Learn (PP)-----Revision (RP)-----Exam Techniques (RP)------Mock Exam (Rehearsal) - Exam.
Weaknesses: We have developed tough, time limited questions specifically for the RP. Hence our students always say that the RP identified their weaknesses quickly and effectively. As a result they get to work on these and are able to raise their performance from Poor to Average to Good.
Timing: The RP is perfectly timed just after the PP and about 3-5 weeks before the actual exam. This gives them time to work on their weaknesses before the exam.
Faculty support: If you gave been studying on your own till now, the full time Genesis Faculty can help you with your doubts if you register for the RP. This is valuable in the last few weeks leading to the exam when you simply have no time to read Scvhwwer or the Curriculum to clarify your doubts.
E learning: You get access to the proprietary Genesis CFA E learning resources: Videos, slides, question bank and discussion forum where you can ask any doubt to anyone.
Road map: The Study Planner Session provided at the end of every RP give clear guidance what needs to be done from now until the day of the exams.
Expertise: Genesis has been offering Rev Pro for more than 6 years with multiple batches for all levels. We pioneered the concept in the Middle East. We have refined the content and method over the years to create a uniquely successful and effective course. For most students, it’s nothing less than a Life Saver and a Game Changer.
